There should be transparency on the web and so, as any good business should do, we are disclosing to you that we’ve included certain products and links to those products on this site that we will earn an affiliate commission for.  That means that for any purchases you make using our affiliate links, we will get a commission. 

Although our goal is to first educate and train you, we have to pay the bills, pay our employees, and pay for our content.  This is, after all, still a business.  Running a business is not cheap.  So, in order to be able to do what we do, to get you the best education possible in front of you, we endorse products and services that we like and promote them on our site and sometimes in our emails, podcasts, and training.

Our site is growing all the time so it is nearly impossible to go back through and list each and every page or time that we have used an affiliate agreement or whom we have agreements with. Given this, you should assume that any links leading you to products or services are affiliate links that we will receive compensation from just to be safe. Having said that, there are millions of products and services on the web that relate to short-term rentals and investing in real estate. We may list many options and do our best to show you all the ones we know.  However, we may promote those products or services that have paid to be promoted and/or we feel are worthy of promoting.  We will do our best to let you know when we personally endorse a product or service and when they have paid for endorsements.

While we check out these products and services, we can't guarantee anything.  While we won't endorse products or services we don't know well or use, things change.  Even the quality of a product and service may change over time.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee any other company because you just don't know what's going to happen.  We do our best to stay on top of things but something could potentially slip past us.

Please note that we have not been given any free products, services, or anything else by these companies in exchange for mentioning them on the site,  unless they have paid for sponsorship. The company's consideration is in the form of affiliate commissions or compensation as an advisor for a few well-chosen companies.  Sponsorships are noted as such.

National Short Term Rental Association allows its members to become affiliates and pays their affiliates a commission on products, memberships, and services. 

The person must be a member in good standing in order to be an Affiliate and in order to get an Affiliate Commission.

Affiliates are given links and those links must be used in order to receive a Commission.

Affiliates commissions are ongoing (for example, monthly memberships are paid out as commissions monthly) as long as the Affiliate remains a member in good standing.  If an affiliate ends their membership, their commissions, too, will end.  

There is no way to reestablish a previous commission if an affiliate member leaves and returns at a later date.
