The NSTRA is a trade association dedicated to enhancing the short-term rental industry through education and training. We believe that by establishing replicable standards, we can benefit the community and ensure our clients experience safety, comfort, care, and cleanliness. Our aim is for our members to be responsible neighbors and active stewards of the community. We achieve this by offering certification classes and general educational resources that promote the advancement and well-being of everyone involved.
Personal Certification Program
The NSTRA establishes essential standards as identified by our members for the benefit of our guests, the industry, and the community. We then teach these standards and certify members who commit to upholding them.
Courses and Trainings
Our online and in-person courses and trainings encompass all aspects of our industry across a variety of topics. We invite speakers to share their expertise on numerous subjects with our community, teach courses, and conduct training sessions throughout the year.
Certified and Registered Properties
Once our members achieve certification, they will have the opportunity to register and certify their individual properties, provided that those properties comply with our latest community standards, which are created and approved by our members and our governing board.
